Top-5-MAC-Lipsticks-300x102 Top 5 Favorite MAC Lipsticks- Swatches!

Well hello there beauties!

I must share my Top 5 favorite MAC lipsticks (well some of them at least). I will show you my first 5 for now! One thing I love about MAC lipsticks is that they’re very pigmented and very long lasting! The color quality is amazing! The 5 I am mentioning today looks great on EVERY skin tone. Here they are!

  1. All Fired Up (retro matte)- This beautiful color is described as a bright fuschia with a red undertone. I absolutely love it during the spring/summer months.
  2. Ruby Woo (retro matte)- Okay, everyone knows about the infamous Ruby Woo, but for those who does not, this is the perfect red!
  3. Heroine (matte)- OMGee…love it….I love it! Such a beautiful purple, I would wear this year-round!
  4. Flat Out Fabulous (retro matte)- This is an amazing color! I love the pink with purple undertone effect it gives.
  5. Rebel (satin)- This was my very first MAC lipstick and I still love it! It is a great fall lip color.

Need an Energy Boost? Try this Energy-Boosting Smoothie!

Smoothie-200x300 Need an Energy Boost? Try this Energy-Boosting Smoothie!

Hello guys!

TGIF!! I hope you all had a wonderful and productive week. I know you are feeling pretty tired….want some energy? Let’s make this yummy smoothie together!

Get in the kitchen and gather these ingredients…..you will need:

1 cup of mango (I used the frozen mango but you can definitely use fresh mango, just peel and chop it up!)

1 cup of pineapple

1 cup of raspberries

Leafy greens (I used romaine lettuce)

1 cup of vanilla almond milk

1 1/2 tbs honey

1 cup of crushed ice

{{Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until you reach desired consistency!}} You can use spinach, kale or your favorite leafy green. I used half of the stalk of lettuce (about size of the palm of your hand). If you are allergic to almonds you can always use soymilk, coconut milk or rice milk. Add more honey if you would like it to be sweeter!

Let’s talk about this delicious smoothie for a second. Raspberries are FULL of antioxidants and potassium. Mango has over 20 vitamins, improves digestion and benefits your skin and hair. Pineapples also improves digestion, reduces inflammation and decreases the risk of obesity. Almond milk has no cholesterol and has vitamins A, D and B12. Honey reduces ulcers and other gastrointestinal issues. Green leafy vegetables are low in fat, high in fiber, rich in folic acid, vitamin C, iron, calcium and potassium. This is your SUPERFOOD and where most of your energy comes from!

I must say, since mornings are dreadful (for me), I definitely look for my energy-boosting smoothie. It’s also a great substitute if you do not eat breakfast. You should definitely have something in your system since breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Try it out and let me know if you feel a difference! Have a great weekend!

P.S: Don’t have crushed ice? Put some ice in a gallon zip lock bag, take a meat beater or hammer and crush it up. There you have it, instant crushed ice.

xoxo

MAC Viva Glam Ariana Grande Review/Swatch!

photo-200x300 MAC Viva Glam Ariana Grande Review/Swatch! photo-1-3-300x224 MAC Viva Glam Ariana Grande Review/Swatch!

Hello there beauties!

As you all know, Viva Glam Ariana Grande launched January 13th online. It will launch January 21st in a store near you. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this amazingly vampy lip color! It is described as a deep dark plum matte lippie. It’s not as matte as the other ‘matte’ lipsticks. Let’s not get confused with retro matte (those are wonderful, but absolutely drying!). It’s true to color and literally lasts ALL day! Viva Glam Ariana pairs well with the MAC lipliner in Nightmoth. They also have the lipglass available which is a shimmering pink color. I only purchased the lipstick, but that’s my preference! I would wear this as a fall or winter color! Maybe a date night look? Grunge look? Bad girl look? It would look great on you! Tell me what you think!
